Pure

Guide to help you setup your Pure profile

Introduction to Pure

Pure is the Current Research Information System (CRIS) of Amsterdam UMC organizing the output registration for all its researchers, including yours. It is also the main source for the Amsterdam UMC Research Website and Research Portal.

As a researcher at Amsterdam UMC, you are required to edit and maintain the following information in Pure:

  • Your personal profile;
  • Your societal and scientific output.

By doing so, you create your own personal page on the Amsterdam UMC research website, ensuring:

  • That your work is discoverable and connected to you throughout your career;
  • To minimize the time spent entering repetitive data online;
  • To eliminate name ambiguity, distinguishing you from other researchers and ensuring proper attribution.
  • To help us (the output registration team) to provide management information that is used for annual reports of Amsterdam UMC, the UvA and the VU, overviews, and internal and external quality evaluations of the research that is being performed at Amsterdam UMC. Up-to-date information in your profile is therefore essential!

If you have questions about Pure you can ask your departmental contact person for Pure for help.
